The construction of Sharabati’s new production facility, begun in August 2023, is almost complete. Approximately the same size as the company’s headquarters and designed to accommodate around 2,000 workers, the new location includes two spinning halls, a warping and sizing hall, a gabardine weaving hall, and a shuttle loom weaving hall. Additionally, there are four large cotton storage facilities, which underlines the scale of the operation.
Spinning, the first stage of denim production, is at the heart of this project. The first spinning hall will house 15 splicing machines for producing lycra and dual core weft yarn. These machines are known for their superior quality and efficiency, helping to mitigate common quality issues associated with dual core yarns. In addition, this hall is equipped with the same number of spinning machines specialized in producing poly-cotton yarn. The new spinning machines in the second spinning hall will produce compact and carded yarn. The third hall includes three warping machines and two sizing machines.
This substantial investment further demonstrates Sharabati's commitment to expanding its operations and enhancing production capacity with superior quality, particularly in spinning and yarn production. The new facility is expected to significantly boost the company's output while maintaining the high quality standards we are known for.
Moreover, this expansion will create job opportunities for approximately 2,000 individuals, including workers, section heads, and engineers, contributing positively to the local economy.
